Our Mission
Volunteers for Israel’s mission is to connect English speakers to Israel through volunteer service. We achieve this goal by partnering with Israeli organizations that enable volunteers to work side-by-side with Israelis.We promote solidarity and goodwill among Israelis, American Jews, and other friends of Israel. No matter the task, VFI’s focus is always to lend a hand and to assure Israel that she does not stand alone. Founded in 1982, VFI is a nonprofit, non-political, non-sectarian 501(c)3 U.S. corporation.
How We Do It
Volunteers for Israel is offering new Volun-Touring programs to Stand With Israel. In Israel. We have expanded our scope to include more of Israel’s rich volunteering opportunities.
Our Programs
VFI offers eight unique programs to which an individual can apply for a combination of volunteering and touring in Israel for one week or more. A sixth program, VFI Private Group Volun-Touring, is tailored to fit your group’s unique style and preferences. Whether you’re a family, a corporate team, a special interest group, or from a church or synagogue, we jointly create an itinerary that resonates with you, highly customized for time, content, subject matter, depth, stated interests, etc.
